Drottningholm Palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the most well-preserved palace in Sweden. From the 1600s, Drottningholm is a wonderful piece of Swedish history and a perfect representaiton of the European architecture for this century. The palace is the permanent residence of their Majesties the King and Queens of Sweden. The southern wing of the palace are thus reserved to this purpose. The rest of the palace and the gardens are open to visitors all year long.
