 Drottningholm

 

Drottningholm Palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the most well-preserved palace in Sweden. From the 1600s, Drottningholm is a wonderful piece of Swedish history and a perfect representaiton of the European architecture for this century. Inspired by French models, Drottningholm offers a wonderfull historical experience.

Royal personages left their marks in the palace, influenced by different centuries styles and fashion tends. Incledible debchambers, the palace theatre and the exotic chinese pavilion will please all the family.

The palace is the permanent residence of their Majesties the King and Queens of Sweden. The southern wing of the palace are thus reserved to this purpose. The rest of the palace and the gardens are open to visitors all year long.
